The new summer collection of Belgian casual chic brand ESSENTIEL is all about colour. The latest womenswear collection of the Antwerp-based label adds a pop of colour to your wardrobe, with exotic and floral prints that are combined with polka dots and stripes. The designers chose lightweight, fluid fabrics so the garments fall loosely around the body. The botanical theme is a constant throughout, with daisies and bright red cherries as well as colourful tropical patterns. T-shirts and sweatshirts with sparkly embroidered parrots can be combined with wide straight trousers or a skirt with a geometric pattern. The motto for this season clearly is everything goes. And thanks to the new collection you can mix and match elegant pieces that also feel comfortable to wear.
Are you the type of woman who doesn’t want to give her outfit too much thought in the morning? Now ESSENTIEL makes weekdays much easier with a t-shirt for every day of the week, from a manic Monday to a lazy Sunday. For a look that is both put-together and fashionably casual, why not choose an outfit that was inspired by pyjamas?
After the Muppets and other Disney characters, this summer Essential has collaborated with Peanuts for its new collection. Snoopy and his friend, Woodstock the bird, are featured on skirts, sweatshirts and handbags. The shoe collection is just as colourful with open shoes or striped platform sandals.
Coming to the IDF stores this May: the special Tintin collection from Ice Watch! We are happy and honoured to be selling these beautiful creations from Belgian watch brand Ice Watch, which launches a series of watches inspired by the world of Tintin.
Three different collections inspired by the most famous Tintin comic books have been created: Moon, referring to Tintin’s lunar adventure in Tintin Destination Moon, Soviets, inspired by his interactions in Tintin in the Land of the Soviets and Tintin & Co, a collection dedicated to Tintin and his friends. The fans will be thrilled with the broad selection of colours and images available.
It will not be the first time that Tintin will appear on the dial of a watch: both Citime (1994) and Swatch (2004) have already created different variations. But with Ice Watch, the relationship with the Tintin-brand will be a little different. For these three collections, Ice Watch and Moulinsart Foundation decided together to focus on Tintin and not to mention the Ice Watch logo.
Be one of the first to discover this extraordinary collection in the IDF stores in the month of May!
Have you ever dreamt of creating your own shade of lipstick? Well now you can, thanks to Guerlain. You can choose both your shade and your case. Guerlain has developed a revolutionary concept with its new Rouge G: the lip colour comes in a magnificent curvy silver case, which was designed by a jeweller, and which also conveniently features a double mirror. But what makes this lip colour so exceptional is that the case is completely customisable. Take your pick from 15 different cases, so your lipstick really reflects your personality: leather, marble, florals, polka dots, matt and shiny…
On the colour side, you can choose from 30 lipstick shades, including 8 limited edition hues. The colours ensure intense, luminous colour thanks to their long-lasting formula. Rouge G also combines jojoba and wild mango butter for hydration with hyaluronic acid and gugul resin to help smooth and plump up your lips. The fragrance of Rouge G also attests to the savoir-faire of the House of Guerlain, which is one of the world’s leading perfume houses since 1828. The delicate vanilla “floriental” with citrus notes and a rose and iris heart is released as you apply it.
If you are still looking for the perfect gift for your mum on Mother’s Day, then why not treat her to a sparkling keepsake from the new Swarovski jewellery collection? The Austrian brand, which is renowned for its high-quality crystal jewellery, has created two new lines for this symbolic occasion, called Latisha and Sparkling Dance. A new collection of elegant and timeless sparkling creations that is bound to put a smile on your mum’s face.
The Latisha line was inspired by flowers and includes pendants, bracelets, earrings and necklaces in shimmering black and white crystal. Coordinate your jewellery with your outfit or your mood thanks to this reversible flower pendant, which shimmers in black on one side and white crystals on the other. The versatile earrings can be worn with or without the pearl jackets or styled asymmetrically.
The Sparkling Dance line was also inspired by flowers but has a more romantic look and feel to it, thanks to the “dancing crystal”: the stone floats inside an innovative setting, dancing to the tune of your movements. The sparkling stone catches the light even more, and is transformed into a glittering work of art. Choosing what to buy from this stunning collection of pendants, necklaces, earrings and bracelets may prove more difficult than you thought.
From March 30 to April 30, Godiva is on show at Brussels Airport. Terminals A and B each host a different chocolate dress. These chocolate works of art were created around two emblematic collections from the Godiva brand, and its chocolates that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to taste.
In the Walkthrough of Terminal A, passengers will be able to admire an impressive dress mostly made of “Iconic Heart boxes“, this luxurious assortment of chocolates with a couture design. This elegant gold heart shaped box with structured packaging houses 14 famous Godiva hearts in dark chocolate, milk, and white versions. A delicacy as refined as it is irresistible.
Do not miss the dress showed on the Walkthrough of Terminal B either, with its warm and golden tones, based on the Gold Discovery box theme. This selection of chocolates with perfect lines is enjoyed with the eyes first. The assortment, both colorful and varied, takes us on a real taste travel through the art of the famous Belgian chocolate maker. With its Godiva-embellished couture packaging, the Gold Discovery box will delight even the most demanding chocolate lovers.
Throughout April, Terminal A’s Fashion Studio offers its customers a 15% discount on the Spring Summer collection of four top ready-to-wear brands: enjoy this reduction from 1 to 15 April on Essentiel and Superdry Men and on Boss Orange and Twin-Set from 15 to 30 April. To mark the occasion, designers have dressed the two mannequins welcoming visitors at the entrance of the shop, thus providing you with a complete look!
Although Boss Orange and Superdry Men don’t spring to mind when mix-and-matching designers, the result is an alluring casual chic. Boss Orange is the relaxed collection of the renowned German brand specialising in well-cut business attire and elegant suits, while English brand Superdry owes its success to a clever combination of Japanese and American graphic influences with a very British attention to cut and detail.
Women have not been forgotten and the looks modelled by the mannequins associate Essentiel with Twin-Set. Since its creation in 1999 in Antwerp, the Belgian ready-to-wear brand merges timeless sophistication and contemporary style with an extra touch of originality that exemplifies Antwerp fashion. The resolutely different but highly sophisticated Italian brand Twin-Set specialises in knits and is immediately identifiable through its feminine and affirmed pieces for a modern and elegant woman.
Exclusively created for travellers, Jean Paul Gaultier Airlines perfume collection has just landed in the IDF boutiques. This limited edition comprises a fragrance for men and another for women, both of which perfectly reinterpret the famous couturier’s emblematic scents LE MÂLE and CLASSIQUE.
For this Airlines version, iconic LE MÂLE is clad with the traditional stripes of the brand. The oriental/floral/aquatic blend evokes freshly washed t-shirts worn after a hard day spent lounging by the pool. Built around the Neroli flower and mint, the virile perfume rests on a blend of sage, Tonka bean, sandalwood and vanilla, which confers it soft and sexy characteristics.
The female-shaped bottle of the CLASSIC eau de toilette is clad in an electric blue bustier. Underneath, we discover an oriental/aldehyde/fern scent that hints at ginger – an essential element of Jean Paul Gaultier’s CLASSIC eau de toilette – that adds a sweet touch to the perfume. Neo-labdanum, sugarcane and vanilla give the scent its crystalline aspect that recalls an irresistibly delicious lemon sorbet. Finally, the bottom notes of musk make this feminine perfume by Jean Paul Gaultier completely addictive.
You will find these two new perfumes in our Brussels and Charleroi IDF shops and online, in our webshop.
Two new stars have appeared in Lancôme’s constellation of women fragrances: La Nuit Trésor à la folie eau de parfum and La vie est belle L’Éclat, Eau de toilette. The latest version of the perfume that exemplifies the joy and happiness radiating through Julia Roberts’ dazzling smile is founded on neroli essence, which irradiates its warm notes around iris, jasmine and orange blossom. The resulting perfume is a light bouquet of lovely flowers ending on addictive bottom notes of musk.
The brand new La Nuit Trésor à la Folie pays tribute to the first frissons of love. A soft black velvet ribbon encircles the incandescent red, diamond-shaped bottle that contains an intoxicating, oriental perfume. Like its precursor – the iconic original Trésor – this scent is built around the queen of all flowers, the rose. A bouquet of jasmine and peonies sublimates the intense, carnal scent of Damascena flowers whilst bottom notes intermingling vanilla, Tonka bean, patchouli, amber and musk bring the delightful Nuit Trésor à la folie together for a voluptuous, indispensable floral fragrance.
You will find these two new perfumes in our Brussels and Charleroi IDF shops and online, in our webshop.
Great news for Lacoste aficionados: the world-renowned polo shirt brand finally makes its grand entrance at Brussels Airport.
Created by legendary tennis champion René Lacoste in 1933, the polo shirt bearing a grinning (or famished!) reptile is an indispensable item in any urban wardrobe. The timelessly elegant shirt is truly ageless and its impressive range of colours can be adapted to every style, making it the perfect gift idea, since everyone loves easy, classic pieces…
Lacoste is synonymous with quality: the shirts are made out of resistant and soft cotton, carefully selected by the brand according to a very strict range of quality criteria that take into consideration essential preoccupations, such as sustainability for instance.
Scotch & Soda, the quirky clothing brand born in Amsterdam, launched its first perfume line: BARFLY. Much like the clothes, the perfume has its own distinctive character and is full of details. Intense, but simple, young and transparent. As the scent develops from its fresh top notes of citrus- herb to the middle notes of lavender and jasmine, mixed with outspoken components such as Sandal and Cedar wood, it eventually settles down to reveal its warm base notes of musk and Madagascar Vanilla.
As we’ve come to expect from the brand, their perfume also beams the typical Scotch & Soda’s design aesthetics. With its no-nonsense bottle, carefully selected through vintage archives and crafted top with the Barfly logo embossed, Barfly is a truly special addition to the brand. It stands out by its individuality, not only by its extraordinary and surprising scent but also by its name and product design.
BARFLY is available in the Fashion Studio Store in terminal A – don’t tame your curiosity and be sure to check it out the next time you pass by the store!
